Today we learned that Kawakami, Tomoko (Apr 25, 1971- 09 June, 2011.) passed away. We as Anime fans feel sad with her passing, and may she rest in peace. Some of her most famous voice overs were:

The final movie of Broken Blade “Chapter VI” coming March 26,2011
Broken Blade an Anime full of colorful and great characters come to an end in March 26.2011. We hope to watch an epic end and even if I personally just have watched the Blu-ray releases of “Chapter I” and “Chapter II” I was already hooked with the plot and can’t wait to watch the rest of the chapters, because sadly the movie is not released here in the United States theaters, so I have to wait.
According to AnimeAnime.jp it all began in May 29. 2010 with “Chapter I” and it was so successful that they began producing the other 5 parts. Their original Manga sold more than 100 million copies and the reception of the Blu-ray releases has been successful too. The successful combination of Manga and Anime releases worked in harmony according to many reviewers of “Broken Blade.”
For those that have not watched “Broken Blade,” it is basically about the struggle between friendship and how war has an effect on it. The struggle between what seems as normal and that out of the norm come into play with Broken Blade. Later on we will review it in full when we finish watching the 6 parts.
“Chapter VI” of “Broken Blade” is titled: “Chapter VI of Sorrows Fort.” Keep in mind that the actual title in English might change. “Chapter 6 will be the final chapter in the series, were forced to Borukyusu Battalion, was trained Got Derufingu line with new weapons and accompanied by hand to go fight the last Shigyun. In a recent movement by the Tokyo government in Japan to restrict how Manga and Anime that depicts extreme use of rape, incest, and other dangerous sex crimes has met with resistance from well known Manga Producers.
“A group of 10 major comic publishers has protested against the bill and said it will boycott the biggest industry show, the Tokyo International Anime Fair, to be hosted next March by Tokyo’s conservative Governor Shintaro Ishihara.”
So, we can at least expect some of the Manga and Anime producers to oppose such law and make their voices be heard. I think it is important even from the international community to follow this close, because without a doubt it will be have some consequences for us as well. We already know how much such censorships are affecting the way “Hentai Anime” is being produced that many of the fun aspects of it have been taken away from such bills.
But, not everything is dark! There are some producers that are willing to fight this to the end.
